Summer Camp Remix 2020

Camp Remix: Rollercoasters, Robots, Flight, Animorphs, Solar Ovens, and MORE!

Summer is usually a time when McPIE is bustling with activity. Freedom School Scholars fill classrooms at Christ Lutheran Church while Pathways Science Camp participants are busy designing and engineering at McClintock. McPIE had to pivot and “remix” our plans. Camp Remix ran from June 16th through July 31st. Camp participants completed weekly challenges, interacted with their teachers via video‐conference, and earned some pretty sweet incentives! College, career paths, physical activity, and literacy was included and related to the weekly themes. Freedom School Scholars were challenged to read about and have discussions on black history and social justice.
