Learning to Pivot

March 15th, McPIE had to "pivot" from what we have always done regarding Family Night and supporting McClintock Middle School. Starting the week of March 24th, we began providing supplies needed for weekly Challenges. Challenge Packs were designed to keep students engaged with a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) activity while at home.

A key part of our mission is supporting families. One way we pivoted to better offer support to McClintock families was by offering groceries and meals. With Family Night cancelled, that Tuesday meal was no longer available.

Volunteers have been passing out groceries, Challenge Packs, making phone calls, purchasing supplies, and more.

Science Camp and Freedom School have been "remixed" to allow for precautions and keeping students and staff safe!
