Text Box: MCPIE supports public schools through the promotion of meaningful parent involvement in the education of children and school reform.  MCPIE is a partner of the National Coalition for Parent Involvement in Education.

ü     Foster stronger collaborations between and among organizations
ü     Disseminate timely information of the latest research, best practices, and training needs for parents 
ü     Improve coordination of training opportunities for parents
ü     Increase the number of  informed parents

Coordinate with participating organizations and school districts as needed to support each others work that involves getting information to parents on educational issues.

For organizations, parents and schools to provide up-to-date research and best practices for school, family, and community partnerships and related educational issues that supports student learning.

Coordinate efforts to avoid duplication and identify gap in available resources.  Recommend the best organization for topics. Provide parents with timely and meaningful opportunities that enable them to support student learning.
