Greater New Bedford Community Health Ctr.

The Greater New Bedford Community Health Center is designated a Public Health Service 330 Center. This represents our federal status as a health center that receives specific Federal support to provide services to the “medically under served.” We have been providing area residents with complete, family-oriented, quality primary health care since 1981.Our mission is to provide services and programs that improve the health of individuals and the community. We are centrally located in historic downtown New Bedford, which means that we are easily accessible by public transportation.
The Health Center employs three full-time translators who speak Spanish, Portuguese, and Creole. Many of our staff speak other languages such as French, Hebrew, Italian, Polish, Russian, and Vietnamese.
